Operating Principle

Solar power is generated via a solar panel array that converts solar energy into direct current (DC) electricity to be stored inside a battery bank. A complete solar power system typically consists of solar panels, a solar charge controller, a battery bank, an inverter, and AC loads. In the presence of sunlight, the solar panels generate electricity to charge the battery bank; during the absence of light, the battery supplies stored energy to the load through the system.

The solar charge controller adopts a step-by-step current-limiting charging method. It automatically controls the turn-on or cut-off of the multi-channel solar panels based on the voltage variations of the battery bank. This mechanism makes optimal use of solar energy resources while safeguarding the battery bank against overcharging.
