Performance Characteristics of On Grid Wind Turbine Controller
  • This product is produced according to the industry standard JB/T6939.1-2004 and the national standard GB/T19115.1-2003. It can also be produced according to the technical requirements of users.
  • Color touch screen display. Visually display the working status of the controller. Rich data display: real-time wind turbine voltage and current, solar panel voltage and current, DC output voltage and current, and cumulative power generation.
  • The technical parameters of the controller can be adjusted through the touch screen. The control parameters can be adjusted for different wind turbines.
  • Two sets of control systems are adopted: PWM constant voltage and constant current system + three-phase braking system.
  • Current control, wind speed control, and wind turbine speed control can be added, and the control parameters can be set.
  • In the case of strong winds, the constant voltage and constant current output of the controller provides DC constant voltage power to ensure the normal operation of the inverter.
  • When the on-grid inverter is offline, the controller outputs a constant voltage and waits for the inverter to return to work.
  • When the grid is cut off, the controller will automatically control the wind turbine brake and the inverter will stop output to the grid. When the grid resumes, the controller stops braking the wind turbine and the inverter will resume power supply.
  • The inside of the controller is equipped with a surge protector. This limits the over-voltage into the wind turbine to a bearable level for the equipment or system, and conducts strong lightning currents directly into the earth to avoid damage.
  • The controller has an emergency stop switch. In case of emergency, pressing the front panel button cuts off all power supply to the controller, and the wind turbine will immediately brake.
  • The controller has a manual brake switch. Activating this switch will engage the wind turbine brake.
  • Uses Modbus communication protocol, which is convenient for customers to conduct secondary development.
  • Supports RS485, WiFi, GPRS, Ethernet, and other communication methods. You can monitor the working status of the on-grid wind power generation system in real-time through a PC or mobile phone, and query historical data. The mobile terminal is compatible with Android and iOS. All data can be connected to the Internet of Things.
  • A solar panel control system can be added according to customer needs.
  • The controller can add various control functions such as yaw control, pitch control, mechanical folding tail control, mechanical brake, hydraulic brake, electromagnetic brake, etc., according to the type of wind turbine.

The on-grid wind turbine system is composed of the wind turbine, on-grid controller, on-grid inverter, metering device, and power distribution system. Wind energy is converted into AC electrical energy by the wind turbine, then converted into DC electrical energy by the on-grid controller. The DC electrical energy is then converted into AC electrical energy of the same frequency and phase as the grid by the on-grid inverter, supplying power to local loads, with surplus power fed into the grid.
