Performance characteristics of on grid wind turbine controller
  • 1 This product is produced according to the industry standard JB/T6939.1-2004 and the national standard GB/T19115.1-2003. It can also be produced according to the technical requirements of users.
  • 2 Color touch screen display. Visually display the working status of the controller. Rich data display: real-time wind turbine voltage and current, solar panel voltage and current, DC output voltage and current, and cumulative power generation.
  • 3 The technical parameters of the controller can be adjusted through the touch screen. The control parameters can be adjusted for different wind turbines.
  • 4 Two sets of control systems are adopted: PWM constant voltage and constant current system + three-phase braking system.
  • 5 Current control, wind speed control and wind turbine speed control can be added, and the control parameters can be set.
  • 6 In the case of strong winds, the constant voltage and constant current output of the controller provides DC constant voltage power to ensure the normal operation of the inverter.
  • 7 When the on grid inverter is offline, the controller outputs a constant voltage and waits for the inverter to return to work.
  • 8 When the grid is cut off, the controller will automatically control wind turbine brake and the inverter will stop output to grid. When the grid resumes, the controller stops braking the wind turbine and the inverter will resume power supply.
  • 9 The inside of the controller is equipped with a surge protector. This limits over-voltage into the wind turbine to bearable levels. It also conducts strong lightning currents directly into the earth to avoid damage.
  • 10 The controller has an emergency stop switch. In case of emergency, pressing the front panel button cuts off all power supply and immediately brakes the wind turbine.
  • 11 The controller features a manual brake switch. Activating this switch will brake the wind turbine.
  • 12 Uses Modbus communication protocol, convenient for secondary development.
  • 13 Supports RS485, WiFi, GPRS, Ethernet and other communication methods. Real-time monitoring of the on-grid wind power system is available via PC or mobile phone (compatible with Android and iOS). Historical data query is supported, with IoT connectivity.
  • 14 A solar panel control system can be integrated according to customer requirements.
  • 15 Various control options (yaw control, pitch control, mechanical folding tail, mechanical brake, hydraulic brake, electromagnetic brake) can be added based on the turbine type.

The On-grid wind turbine system is composed of the wind turbine, on-grid controller, on-grid inverter, metering device, and power distribution system. Wind energy is converted into AC electrical energy by the turbine, then into DC by the controller, and finally converted into AC of matching frequency and phase by the inverter to supply the local load. Surplus power is fed back into the grid.
